It’s Labor Day weekend , and that’s the traditional “end” of summer. Sure, the official season itself still has a few more weeks before sunset, but for all intents and purposes, the summer has passed. Fall is here.
And fall is typically tough for investments.
Historically, September is the worst month of any calendar year for stocks. Investments tend to swoon during this time as traders take stock of a year that is already about 60% over. Add a looming holiday season, earnings forecasts and macro trends… and September tends to be a tough one.
It’s true for crypto too, especially given the deep tie between digital assets and the NASDAQ.
So… steel yourself. We’ve talked a lot in this newsletter about what this bear market means for investors, and I believe things are about to turn rougher. A few factors:
