Mark Cuban just lost more money.
The man still has money to burn, but his recent experience is a good reminder—crypto scammers still want to separate you from your investments. In Cuban’s case, the scammers succeeded when he clicked on a so-called “bad link.”
You might also know it as a phishing scam.
Cuban’s experience also comes on the heels of another high-profile case— Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin also lost a boatload of crypto to a similar scam.
The point is—keep your wits about.
That can’t be emphasized enough. Check, double check, and check some more before you open a shady link or download something you can’t verify.
